Will We Never Learn?
"There is a special place in my heart for the elderly who have few people willing to come and share their time with them so they can keep their scales of happiness and sadness in balance. I love to see the twinkle in their eyes and the smiles on their face as I share my time with them and relive with them some of the great joys that continue to give them the will to live and love on into the future.
And, at the very end of their lifetime, standing by the gravesite, we hear people lamenting that they wish they had shared more of their precious time with them. And so, history repeats itself for those who still haven't learned how to manage their time and are forced to place yet another sorrow on the scales that measure their lifetime. Will we never learn?"
